Lady Vols transfer portal tracker, Who's in, out for Kim Caldwell's roster 2026-27

· Yahoo Sports

Lady Vols basketball is going through roster turnover this offseason after Kim Caldwell's second season ended with a loss in the first round of the NCAA Tournament for the third time in program history.

Tennessee only had eight possible returners, and two players announced intentions to enter the transfer portal three days after the Lady Vols' loss to NC State in the first round on March 20.

The transfer portal window for immediate eligibility begins the day after the national championship and will be open from April 6-20.

Tennessee ended the season at 16-14, recording the worst winning percentage in program history (.552) and tied the fewest number of wins in the NCAA era. The Lady Vols lost 11 of their last 13 games and ended the season with an eight-game losing streak, which is the program's longest of the NCAA era.

Here's what to know about the Lady Vols and the transfer portal:

Who is leaving Tennessee women's basketball via the transfer portal

Deniya Prawl

ESPN reported March 23 that freshman guard Deniya Prawl planned to enter the transfer portal. Prawl was one of three McDonald's All-Americans in Tennessee's freshman class. She was a five-star ranked No. 17 by ESPN in the 2025 class.

The 6-foot-2 Toronto native was a solid player in UT's rotation this season and averaged four points, 2.7 rebounds and one steal in 15.5 minutes. Prawl started in eight games and shot 41.3% from the field, 14.7% from 3-point range and 47.6% on free throws.

Alyssa Latham

On3 reported that junior forward Alyssa Latham planned to enter the transfer portal on March 23. Latham played at Tennessee for two seasons after transferring in from Syracuse ahead of Caldwell's first season.

Latham was one of four forwards on Tennessee's roster – the other three graduated – and averaged 19.1 minutes this season. The 6-foot-2 junior averaged 4.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and one steal while shooting 53.9% from the field this season.
