• J.J. Gowetski (Conneaut 2024) helped John Carroll finish fourth in the NCAC Championships last week. Gowetski swam a 1:02.25 in the 100 individual medley, helped the 400 free relay team finish fourth with a 3:36.57 combined time and finished 21st in the 100 fly.

• Jaidyn Jordan (Conneaut 2024) helped Ashland finish third in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships last week. Jordan swam a 11:32.92 in the 1000 yard freestyle, 2:05.67 in the 200 yard freestyle, a 5:33.29 in the 500 yard freestyle and a 19:31.90 in the 1650 yard freestyle.

Wrestling

• Joey King (Maplewood 2021) took home the heavyweight championship at the PAC Championship last week. King won his first two matches with 17 and 14 second pins to reach the semifinals. In the semifinals, King won 2-0, before winning a 15-2 major decision in the final. King repeated as a PAC champion, winning the 197 weight class last year. King finished the year 7-0.

• Hunter Gould (Conneaut 2023) wrestling for Lock Haven, won the Lock Haven Open on Sunday at 149 pounds. Gould went a perfect 3-0 with three tech falls (17-2, 15-0, 17-1). He beat Pittsburgh’s Connor Swaim 17-1 in the title bout.

Basketball

• Hannah Brady (Conneaut 2024) appeared in both games for Thiel last week. Brady scored six points, two rebound and one block.

• Lyndzee Amory (Saegertown 2024) put down nine points, four rebounds and two steals in one game for Thiel last week.

• Payton Leandro (Cambridge Springs 2025) helped Penn State Behrend win its ninth straight game last week, where she recorded a block.

• Lucas Luteran (Meadville 2025) had a block last week for Washington & Jefferson.

• Jack Burchard (Meadville 2025) recorded an assist in Gannon’s win over Edinboro last week.

Volleyball

• Cameron Schleicher (Meadville 2023) helped Penn State Behrend to three straight wins last week. He tallied 15 kills, 12 digs, four assists, four block assists and two aces.

• Sam Draa (Saegertown 2024) scored 10 kills, five block assists, three digs, and an ace in three games for Thiel last week.

Softball

• Mikaila Obenrader (Saegertown 2024) pitched in two games for Canisius last week. Obenrader struck out one and walked four with 10 hits and seven runs allowed in 31 batters faced.

• Ali Acosta-Reyes (Cambridge Springs 2022) appeared in four games for Mercyhurst last week. She had 11 at-bats, where she had two hits for two runs and an RBI.

Lacrosse

• Austin Parker (Maplewood 2023) had 18 ground balls and went 23-45 from the face off dot in two games for Thiel last week.

• Joey King (Maplewood 2021) scored one of Thiel’s two goals last week in its lost to Saint Vincent.

Track and Field

• Marlaya McCoy (Meadville 2025) ran the women’s 60 meter dash twice last week for Point Park. She recored times of 8.29 and 8.22, both in the preliminaries.
