One analyst has Notre Dame on a list of programs best setup for success over the next three seasons.

J.D. Pickell, who works for On3 Sports, has a list of 10 programs that are best setup for success over the next three years. His criteria include coaches and stability, resources, trends in adding talent and the path to the College Football Playoff.
Notre Dame is fifth on the list.
The top three are Oregon, Ohio State and Miami (FL). With the exception of Indiana, a program that went from being a perennial also-ran to this year's national champion, all the program names are familiar.
