Raiders had virtual meeting with Aamil Wagner prior to the draft

· Yahoo Sports

Prospect evaluations have come aplenty for the Las Vegas Raiders in lead up to the 2026 NFL Draft. For those who they can't host on one of their official 30 visits, they meet with virtually, including Notre Dame offensive lineman Aamil Wagner according to KPRC 2 Houston’s Aaron Wilson,

Wagner prevented opposing front sevens from getting after Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr in 2025. The Ohio native allowed only one sack last season. Wagner also allowed just seven pressures on the year.

The Raiders’ offensive line has the chance to veer in the right direction following this year’s draft. Las Vegas needs the likely No. 1 overall pick, Indiana’s Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza, or quarterback Kirk Cousins to be protected in the pocket, as well as holes to be created for running back Ashton Jeanty in 2026.

Wagner would appear to be a prospect the Raiders have in consideration to aid those efforts beginning next season.
