Tennessee basketball guard to transfer after 2025-26 season

The NCAA transfer portal opened on Tuesday after the 2025-26 basketball season concluded. Michigan defeated UConn, 69-63, in the national championship game on Monday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Following the national title game, Tennessee freshman guard Troy Henderson plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, according to Joe Tipton of On3.
The 6-foot-1, 186-pound guard appeared in 28 games for the Vols during the 2025-26 season. He averaged 1.8 points, 0.4 rebounds and one assist per game.
Four other members of Tennessee's 2025-26 basketball roster entered the transfer portal: power forward Cade Phillips, combo guard Clarence Massamba, power forward J.P. Estrella and combo guard Bishop Boswell. Former
Belmont transfer guard Tyler Lundblade committed to the Vols on April 1.
The 2025-26 season was the 11th for Tennessee under head coach Rick Barnes. He guided the Vols to a third consecutive NCAA Tournament Elite Eight appearance.
