Michigan point guard Elliot Cadeau transferred from North Carolina after last season, ending two seasons in Chapel Hill. Cadeau played in 74 games for North Carolina, and while he was a key member of the team, he was criticized for his shooting issues, among other things.
Therefore, Cadeau soaked it in when the Wolverines won the National Championship, which included Cadeau taking home the Most Outstanding Player for the tournament. In fact, in the locker room after the game, Cadeau called out his critics during Michigan's celebration.
"They said I couldn't do it, they tried telling me I was a—," Cadeau said in a live stream of the celebration.

Cadeau ended the season averaging a career-high 10.5 points, 5.9 assists and 2.7 rebounds while shooting 41.1 percent from the field and 37.6 percent from three. During the NCAA tournament, Cadeau produced two games with 10 assists, and he scored 19 points on Monday night against UConn, his most this season.
So, Cadeau certainly earned the right to brag about his performance now that he is officially a national champion. The point guard has a title and an MOP award, which no one can ever take away.
