The NFL offseason is long, and roster moves pop up at various times.
That included on Monday, when the New York Giants waived four players. The NFL Draft is later this month, and John Harbaugh's new squad has decided four guys are surplus to proceedings.
The four players waived on Monday were:
- WR Da'Quan Felton
- S Patrick McMorris
- CB T.J. Moore
- CB Myles Purchase
Felton was an undrafted player out of Virginia Tech last year who was hurt in the preseason. He's 6-foot-5 and runs a 4.50-second 40-yard dash.
McMorris was a sixth-round pick of the Dolphins in 2024 and played six games (1 total tackle) that season.
He spent 2025 on and off the Cardinals' roster but didn't appear in a game.

Moore was undrafted out of Mercer and missed the 2025 season with injury.
Purchase spent a few weeks in 2025 on the Giants' practice squad after playing college football at Iowa State.
The Giants did add one player on Monday, too, signing offensive guard Lucas Patrick to a contract. He has 65 NFL starts and played for the Bengals in 2025.
None of these moves is likely to be immensely consequential, but the fringes of NFL rosters will continue to change all offseason long.
