Highlights from Texas A&M's third spring practice on Tuesday

· Yahoo Sports

Texas A&M's third spring season practice took place on Tuesday afternoon, and after the 17 offseason transfer portal additions, paired with 25 of 26 signees from the 2026 recruiting class, were officially introduced after taking the field during Friday and Sunday's first two practices. However, all eyes continue to be on starting quarterback Marcel Reed, who is entering his third season at the helm.

This offseason, coach Mike Elko shook up his 2026 coaching staff after OC Collin Klein departed for the Kansas State head coaching job, while defensive coordinator Jay Bateman took a lateral move with Kentucky. While outside names were considered for both positions, Elko decided to elevate WR coach Holmon Wiggins to OC, and assistant Lyle Hemphill took over as defensive coordinator.

Among the 43 new additions, Alabama transfer wide receiver Isaiah Horton already looks the part, paired with already established stars Mario Craver and Ashton Bethel-Roman. Texas A&M's 2026 wide receiver rotation should be considered a top 5 unit nationally. On defense, the Aggies' secondary is as deep and talented as it's been in years, while the additions of veteran edge rusher Anto Saka and Ryan Henderson add more juice to the pass rush.

So far, the first three practices have provided fans with some clarity regarding depth at every position, while the added speed and athleticism have been notable. Thanks to several beat writers for providing short clips. Here are the highlights from Texas A&M's third spring practice on Tuesday.
