Beginning at 7 a.m. CT, a wind advisory will be in effect in the Arlington area. Winds are expected to hit speeds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph, per the National Weather Service.

While the wind shouldn't pose a danger to cars on track, the race has been moved up for in-person spectators and employees of the track and Fox, who will be stationed in elevated areas.

IndyCar will race on the 14-turn, 2.73-mile street circuit for the first time ever on Sunday. The time change was announced following Saturday's qualifying session, which saw Marcus Ericsson win his first-ever IndyCar pole.
