Chargers free agency: LA agrees to terms with OL Cole Strange
· Yahoo Sports
The Chargers agreed to terms with guard Cole Strange on a two-year, $13 million contract on Monday.
Strange, a former 2022 first-round pick of the Patriots, joins the Bolts after a one-year stint with the Dolphins. This signing reunites him with Mike McDaniel, who previously coached Strange in Miami.

In his four-year career, Strange has played in 44 games with 43 starts. Most of his playing time has come at left guard (1,546 snaps), with 808 snaps at right guard and 117 snaps at center.
The addition of Strange is part of an overhaul of the Chargers' interior offensive line, which struggled last season and saw both starting guards leave this offseason, including Zion Johnson, who agreed to terms with the Browns. Just days ago, the team also secured center Tyler Biadasz on a three-year, $30 million deal.
Before entering the league, Strange played six seasons at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (2016–2021). He was a five-year starter and became the highest-drafted player in the program's history.
