Girona earned a dramatic point at Levante's field after equalizing in added time thanks to a goal by Joel Roca.

Everything started to get complicated in the second half. In the 50th minute, Espí put Levante ahead, taking advantage of an action inside the area that ended with him beating Gazzaniga and making it 1-0 on the scoreboard. The goal boosted the home team and forced Girona to step up.
In the 59th minute, the referee sent off Olasagasti, leaving Levante with ten players. With a numerical advantage, the Catalan team gained control of the ball and limited Levante to defending and counterattacking.
Girona did not give up despite being behind on the scoreboard. The team managed to hold on and stay alive until the final moments. And just when the match seemed decided, the reward came. In the 94th minute, Joel Roca finished off an offensive play to make it 1-1.
