Why the Boston Celtics have a bright future

· Yahoo Sports

When you look at the current Boston Celtics roster, there's a lot to be excited about. Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum (when he recovers from his Achilles injury) are in their primes. Baylor Scheierman, Hugo Gonzalez, Luka Garza and Jordan Walsh have all shown encouraging upside with their minutes this season. Brad Stevens is among the best minds in any NBA front office. And Joe Mazzulla is emerging as a top-tier coaching talent in the NBA.

Look at this season. Nobody gave Boston a chance during the summer. They were expected to be a play-in level roster, treading water until Tatum finally made a return to the court. Instead, they sit second in the Eastern Conference, having developed a new style of play that accentuates the strengths within the rotation, rather than trying to mask the flaws.
