WWE Elimination Chamber: Betting Favorites and Darkhorses

· Yahoo Sports

Cody Rhodes is the odds-on betting favorite to become the winner of Saturday's WWE men's Elimination Chamber, while Randy Orton is favored to be Rhodes' final obstacle to victory.

That's according to the oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag, which currently list Rhodes (-2000) and Orton (-1000) as the likely final two in the chamber, which will take place from the United Center in Chicago on ESPN Unlimited.

Rhodes (-400) is expected to emerge victorious and wrestle for the Undisputed WWE Championship, currently held by Drew McIntyre. Orton, meanwhile, is at +275 to win the match, while LA Knight is the darkhorse candidate at 4/1.

On the women's side, Rhea Ripley (-300) and Tiffany Stratton (-250) are expected to be the final two in the Elimination Chamber. Ripley (-150) is expected to get the victory and a shot at the WWE Women's Championship, currently held by Jade Cargill. But unlike the men's side, oddsmakers have the women's side a lot tighter, with Stratton at +110 to win.

The other two matches on the card have seen no movement betting wise since the line's original opening. As a result, CM Punk (-5000) is heavily favored to defeat Finn Balor (+1200) and retain his World Heavyweight Championship, while AJ Lee (-300) is expected to defeat Becky Lynch (+200) and become the new WWE women's intercontinental champion.

Lee will be competing in her first championship match in more than 11 years. Her last title bout occurred in December 2014, when she battled Nikki Bella at Tables, Ladders and Chairs ... and Stairs for the Divas Championship.

BetOnline.ag has also listed odds as to whether there will be outside interference in either Chamber match. On the men's side, yes is the betting favorite at -150 (compared to +110 for no), while the women's side lists -300 for yes and +200 for no.

The other male wrestlers competing in the Elimination Chamber are:

Jey Uso

Je’Von Evans

Trick Williams

Meanwhile, the other participants in the women’s Elimination Chamber are:

Alexa Bliss

Asuka

Kiana James

Raquel Rodriguez

Elimination Chamber will be the final Premium Live Event until WrestleMania 42, which will take place on April 18 and 19 in Las Vegas. The other upcoming PLEs are: Backlash on May 9 in Tampa, Florida; Clash in Italy on May 31 in Turin, Italy; and SummerSlam, to be held over two nights on Aug. 1 and 2 in Minneapolis.
