University of TennesseeChancellor Donde Plowman will attend President Donald Trump's roundtable discussion on college sports, a source confirmed to Knox News on Feb. 27.

Plowman joins a variety of college sports personalities for a meeting at the White House on March 6. The summit will target problems facing college sports, presumably concerning issues around the transfer portal and NIL.

Some of the confirmed invitees include Nick Saban, Tim Tebow, Tiger Woods, the Power Four commissioners including the SEC's Greg Sankey, and NBA commissioner Adam Silver, according to Yahoo's Ross Dellenger.

As of now, Plowman is the only woman confirmed to attend, but former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has reportedly been invited.

President Trump has previously voiced his concerns about the college sports landscape. He signaled a desire to intervene during the celebration of the United States' "Miracle on Ice" Olympic men's hockey team at the White House on Dec. 12.

"Something out to be done, and I'm willing to put the federal government behind it," Trump said about dealing with NIL. "And if it's not done fast, you're going to wipe out colleges."
