Titans cutting center 2 years after he left Broncos for big contract
· Yahoo Sports
Just two years after leaving the Denver Broncos in free agency to sign a four-year, $50 million contract with the Tennessee Titans in 2024, center Lloyd Cushenberry is about to hit free agency once again.

Cushenberry (6-4, 315 pounds) is expected to be released by the Titans with a failed physical designation, although that move is not yet official as of Thursday morning. Parting ways with the center will save Tenenssee $7.1 million in salary cap space this season.
The 28-year-old center originally entered the league as a third-round pick out of LSU with the Broncos in 2020. He started 57 games for Denver from 2020-2023, missing half of the 2022 campaign with a groin injury.
Cushenberry had even worse injury luck with the Titans, missing nine games with a torn Achilles in 2024, then battling an injury in 2025 that cost him a starting spot. He is now set to become a free agent, but a reunion with the Broncos feels unlikely after the team gave Luke Wattenberg a four-year, $48 million extension last fall. Alex Forsyth, Denver's backup center who has been serviceable when called upon, still has one more year remaining on his team-friendly rookie contract. So the Broncos have pretty good cover at the position.
