Pakistan became the final team to progress from the group stage with a dominant victory against Namibia in Colombo on Wednesday.

They join defending champions India, co-hosts Sri Lanka, West Indies, England, South Africa, New Zealand and Zimbabwe in the next phase of the tournament.

Here's a look how the eight teams progressed from the group stage and who will face who in the Super 8s.

How did the last eight qualify?

Group A

Defending champions India sealed their place in the Super 8s with a comfortable 61-run win over rivals Pakistan.

Pakistan slipped to third with that defeat, with their net run-rate taking a heavy hit.

However, a dominant 102-run victory in their final game against Namibia helped them seal second place in Group A.

USA sat second going into the final set of fixtures in the group though they slipped to third place with Pakistan's win.

That win also meant the Netherlands' final group-stage fixture against co-hosts India proved to be inconsequential.

Namibia were eliminated with four defeats from four matches.

Group B

Remaining games: Sri Lanka v Zimbabwe (19 Feb, 09:30), Australia v Oman (20 Feb, 13:30)

Sri Lanka secured their progression with a brilliant eight-wicket win over Australia.

Zimbabwe joined them in the next stage after their game against Ireland was washed out.

After their shock defeat by Zimbabwe, Australia needed Ireland to defeat Zimbabwe to stay alive in the tournament but with that game not going ahead, they were knocked out.

Ireland, who finished with three points, and Oman were eliminated.

Group C

Remaining games: West Indies v Italy (19 Feb, 05:30)

West Indies secured their progression with a nine-wicket win over Nepal on Sunday.

England booked their place with a 24-run victory over Italy on Monday.

Scotland, Italy and Nepal were eliminated from the group.

Group D

Remaining games: Afghanistan v Canada (19 Feb, 13:30 GMT)

Unbeaten South Africa qualified and go through as group winners after victory over UAE on Wednesday.

New Zealand booked their place in the next stage with an eight-wicket victory against Canada.

Afghanistan, the United Arab Emirates and Canada were eliminated after finishing bottom three in Group D.

What's the format in Super 8s?

The top two teams in each group - A to D - progressed to the Super 8s, which is made up of two groups of four.

The International Cricket Council pre-determined the Super 8 groups if the eight seeded sides qualified:

X Group: India (X1), Australia (X2), West Indies (X3), South Africa (X4)

Y Group: England (Y1), New Zealand (Y2), Pakistan (Y3), Sri Lanka (Y4)

If any of those sides did not progress, the teams who did get through in their place were to fill the spot and with Australia failing to qualify, Zimbabwe took their spot in the Super 8s.

Each team plays three matches in the Super 8s phase, facing each of the other teams in their group once.

After those fixtures, the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, with the winner of each Super 8s group facing the runner-up from the other.
