Just a day after they were both at the World Championship parade in Seattle, new Las Vegas Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak is interviewing Seahawks wide receiver coach Frisman Jackson for their offensive coordinator position. NFL reporter Tom Pelissero posted the news on X just before noon PST.

Jackson seems like a perfect fit with Kubiak even though they only spent one year together in Seattle. His two-year resume with the team centers around Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who he oversaw in his rise to superstardom. In his first year (2023) he helped him increase his single season yardage total from 628 the year prior to 1,130, and then found even more room for improvement to help him go from good to great, from 1,130 in 2024 to 1,793 in 2025. Kubiak’s offense is built around stretching defenses horizontally with his wide receivers routes and wide zone runs. This move tells us that Jackson’s position group flourishing under those principles was no coincidence, and Kubiak has turned to him first as he lays the framework for his operation in Las Vegas.
Since Kubiak was in the Super Bowl, the Raiders were the last team to have their new head coach officially in the building. They’re in need of a quick turnaround ahead of the NFL’s new league year. The NFL Combine is just eleven days away and they have to flesh out their offensive and defensive schemes before they decide their draft needs. Not long after, free agency begins on March 11th, and they’ll need to start building their roster.
