Top Alabama recruiting target reportedly narrows list of finalists

One of the Alabama Crimson Tide's top 2027 recruiting targets has reportedly narrowed down his list of finalists.

According to Rivals' Hayes Fawcett, highly-touted wide receiver Monshun Sales is down to four schools, which are Alabama, Indiana, Miami, and Ohio State. A prospect which Alabama has previously been predicted to land, at the moment, a potential commitment date is not currently set for Sales.
Sales is considered as one of the nation's top overall prospects in the 2027 recruiting cycle, currently ranking as the No. 9 player nationally, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. A five-star recruit, Sales is also ranked as the No. 2 wide receiver in the nation, as well as the top prospect in the state of Indiana where he attends Lawrence North High School.
Alabama's 2027 class currently has four total commitments, none of which are from wide receivers.
