Nick Emmanwori injury update: Will Seahawks star play in Super Bowl?

A viral video of Nick Emmanwori limping to the Seattle Seahawks' hotel has fans panicked ahead of Super Bowl 60.
This comes after Emmanwori suffered an ankle injury while defending a pass during practice Wednesday. Coach Mike Macdonald did little to quell fans' fears with his comments about the injury.

"He had an ankle today," Macdonald said. "We brought him in to look at it, and we'll kind of go from there and figure out what are the next steps."
Emmanwori, a Defensive Rookie of the Year finalist, is a catalyst for Seattle's league-best "Dark Side" defense. His versatility in the defensive backfield helps Macdonald flummox opposing offenses, giving star defensive linemen Leonard Williams and DeMarcus Lawrence an extra beat to get to the quarterback.

If Emmanwori can't go, or is physically compromised, the New England Patriots wouldn't look like such big underdogs after all. There's no confirmation one way or another on Emmanwori yet, so his status is worth closely monitoring as Super Bowl Sunday nears.
