NORTH WEST
Residents in the central parts of the province are urged to be on high alert, as extremely high fire danger conditions are expected.
MAHIKENG
The provincial capital will be feeling the heat, with temperatures climbing to a scorching 33°C. While it stays hot, there is some relief on the radar, with isolated showers and thundershowers possible later in the day.
KWAZULU-NATAL
KwaZulu-Natal is in for another sweltering day, with the UVB sunburn index at extreme levels. Conditions will be partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers expected.
DURBAN
Durbanites can expect partly cloudy skies and sticky conditions, with temperatures peaking at around 32°C.
FREE STATE
The province will start off partly cloudy before heating up to hot and very hot conditions. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected to develop as the day progresses.
BLOEMFONTEIN
Bloemfontein is set for an intense day, with partly cloudy conditions and a searing high of 37°C, along with isolated showers and thundershowers.
